Love Love me Do! You know I love you!

I feel like shouting from
the roof tops! I feel like singing Beatles songs! I feel like I need to pinch myself yet one more time. I'm in love and lucky enough to be engaged to a man who I adore. I don't blame you if you want to go throw up know after reading my mushy lovey dovey post. Over a year ago I would have done the same. There is something to say about how the right one changes everything. I can't wait till January 21 2012! He will be all mine for always.

NEW YORK CITY I heart you!

NYC, I miss you! I was on the subway my first day back in the city last week, and this is what I saw. Manhattan Storage has some funny adds. Maybe only New Yorker's or former New Yorker's like myself laugh at things like Jesus not being a New Yorker. Hahaha! Space is a very coveted thing in the city. I got so used to being right on top of people all the time that it stoped bothering me. Crammed on subways, crammed on the street, crammed into your tiny apartment. I love my life in San Diego, who wouldn't?! I've got love, beach, family, friends, work. But every once in a while I get the itch to be in the city. The pulse of all the people the lack of space, the subway, the amazing food! I feel so blessed and so lucky to have the lifestyle I have. Every 8 weeks I get to come back to NYC right when I really start missing it and get my fix. Thanks NY for still capturing my heart. It's a part of me that will always live on even if the bi-coastal lifestyle slows down and eventually stops. I'll see you again in November!

The Kindle Club

Can I call it Book Club when it's not really a book I hold in my hands anymore? It's a Kindle. I was anti electronic reading at first. Believe me, I'm old school. But after a lot of my savvy friends in my NYC Book Club started switching over, and countless other people like my mom, who I never thought would go from page to screen, claimed they LOVED it! I bit the bullet and purchased. And I can say I do NOT regret! I am always asking clients for book suggestions and now I can just download them and I now have a growing stock pile of books to read on the Kindle. Of course I still enjoy turning pages and having books on my shelf, this practice will never stop, but for convenience I say get a Kindle!
The newest book I couldn't put down was Sarah's Key by Tatiana de Rosnay. World War ll story of the French occupation. I think it might be a movie too!

Fall Hair Trends

This week my adorable boyfriend sent me a facebook link with Allure magazines top 10 fall hair trends. I love how he see's something like this and randomly thinks of me and sends it! What a guy. I decided to make my own favorites! Braids~ I am obsessed with braids! All kinds, fishtail, over the head, loose in the back, off to the side, around the head. You name it, its in style this fall.
Half Up Half Down~ If you do it go big! I am talking 1960s Bridget Bardot. Sexy volume is always a classic and this fall I predict this as a style must.
The Deep Side Part~ This trend is something that is fun to do for a little more drama. I am constantly cutting my bangs and growing them out. This means I'm always playing with a middle part or side. Side parts are the most flattering for most face shapes in my opinion. To add more drama this fall follow the trend and make it deep.
Here is to some fabulous fall hair thanks to an inspiring little link to my facebook profile! Thanks T!

It's about that time!

It's been since last October that I even touched this blog. I just signed off and decided to give up. I decided that I am a terrible blogger.
Well, I am making a change. I am back in CA and ready to be more active in my endeavors.
Wish me luck and stay posted....
