Last night I went and saw Hunger Games with my mom, we decided at the last minute to invite the men in our lives. We all LOVED it! I have posted about Hunger Games before back when I read the entire series in a matter of a few weeks. Loved the books and I love the movie. They did such a fantastic job with the cast and stuck close to the book. I was also so happy to hear how much Tyler and my dad enjoyed the movie as well, even though they have never read the books. Now I am trying to convince Tyler to read them. He seems game for it. The story is definitely not gender specific. So if you haven't read it, READ it! Then go see the movie.

And tonight is FINALLY the season premier of Mad Men! I am so excited to see the fashion, the hair, and let's be honest, DON DRAPER!

Gorgeous in Paris!

I am obsessed with Paris! I think it is one of the most fabulously gorgeous cities I have ever been to. From the architecture to the women to the dogs, its fabulous. Recently I was on Vogue's online magazine and I came across this article and slide show of Kate Moss modeling in the Paris Ritz Carlton. This photo shoot makes me want to have an expendable income and a suite at the Ritz. Tonight I'll be dreaming of Paris!

From Miss to Mrs.

It's official! I tied the knot! I married my dreamy hubby on Jan 21 2012 and it was one of the best days of my life! Next week we leave on our honeymoon to Mexico! I couldn't be more excited. When I get back to promise to post up some pics. But until then here is what I am looking forward to...

I feel like shouting from

the roof tops! I feel like singing Beatles songs! I feel like I need to pinch myself yet one more time. I'm in love and lucky enough to be engaged to a man who I adore. I don't blame you if you want to go throw up know after reading my mushy lovey dovey post. Over a year ago I would have done the same. There is something to say about how the right one changes everything. I can't wait till January 21 2012! He will be all mine for always.

NEW YORK CITY I heart you!

NYC, I miss you! I was on the subway my first day back in the city last week, and this is what I saw. Manhattan Storage has some funny adds. Maybe only New Yorker's or former New Yorker's like myself laugh at things like Jesus not being a New Yorker. Hahaha! Space is a very coveted thing in the city. I got so used to being right on top of people all the time that it stoped bothering me. Crammed on subways, crammed on the street, crammed into your tiny apartment. I love my life in San Diego, who wouldn't?! I've got love, beach, family, friends, work. But every once in a while I get the itch to be in the city. The pulse of all the people the lack of space, the subway, the amazing food! I feel so blessed and so lucky to have the lifestyle I have. Every 8 weeks I get to come back to NYC right when I really start missing it and get my fix. Thanks NY for still capturing my heart. It's a part of me that will always live on even if the bi-coastal lifestyle slows down and eventually stops. I'll see you again in November!
